The Vice President Global Sourcing is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of all product procurement for the company. Reporting directly to the SVP, Global Logistics and Supply Chain, the Vice President Global Sourcing will:

--- Manage a global team in Vendor Management, Quality Assurance and Compliance employees including (but not limited to) team members in New York, Hong Kong, China, Italy and the Netherlands

Job Duties

Recruiter seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a leading global logistics firm. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO)  reports to the Managing Director for Latin America

•   Establish, maintain and update a system of financial reporting and control for the region in order to provide the various stakeholders assurance and an understanding of the financial position of the company. This process will be aligned with the Group process. Specifically this includes:

o   budget and planning process that enables the company to forecast its financial performance and cash resources

o   monthly reporting process that gives a reliable picture of the company’s financial performance against established plans

o   year end statutory accounts in accordance with recognized accounting practices.

o   value added analysis of business performance to the Managing Director for Latin America and management team.


•   Review and manage the revenues, overheads, and assets of the Latin America region in conjunction with the Managing Director for Latin America in order to maximize margins and minimize losses. Specifically this includes:

o   Setting appropriate KPI’s both financial and non financial that have a bearing upon the financial performance of the business.

o   Review of monthly results, annual forecasts and budgets in order to identify areas where financial performance can be improved. This includes review against established benchmarks.

o   Cost effective control process to minimize fraud and other loss of assets of the Group, through the setting of authorization limits, and the segregation of duties.


•   Managing the cash resources of the Latin America region in order to satisfy the needs of the shareholders, finance providers and management. Specifically this includes:

o   Providing the necessary cash resources to fund the operational capital expenditure.

o   Ensuring surplus capital is used to repay debt or reduce the shareholder investment.

o   Optmizing the interest expense of the region.


•   Set up and maintain a system of control to manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk across the Latin America region. This includes:

o   Taking out foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives to manage the macro exposures of the region’s foreign exchange risk.

o   Preparing currency profit and loss accounts and balance sheets as a part of the budget and forecast process.


•   Review, and manage the Latin America region’s tax change by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and minimising tax paid wherever possible.

•   Developing and maintaining a risk management program for the Latin America region that deals with the material risks faced.

•   Assisting the Managing Director for Latin America in the formulation of the strategic plan.

Reporting to the Senior Vice president of Operations, the Latin America Director of Manufacturing Strategy will deliver the overall Manufacturing and Distribution Strategy & Operations Plans supporting the long term vision of the firm in Latin America. The Latin America Director of Manufacturing Strategy will lead and coordinate changes to current Europe, US, and China Supply Chain efforts, delivering products to the various Latin America businesses, including direct to country distribution centers from production locations through indirect utilizing other company distribution centers world-wide.
