Local managers for foreign companies, where the goal is to increase local market share with senior managers who have strong track records of success in the markets of the United Kingdom and Ireland, or in the European or EMEA market as a unity.
- Our emphasis in this kind of search is to find managers who perform well in accordance with the business culture of the foreign company.
- Whenever possible, for this kind of search we seek candidates who have worked at their best in this role at foreign firms. We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top, large British firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a foreign greenfield business unit in the UK.
- Our objective in this search is to find candidates who are sensitive to both the business culture of the home company and to that of the local UK or Irish customers and staff. The objective is to find a leader whom the foreign company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers and employees in a way that they will find comforting.
- Searches might be at the national level, Anglophone level, Northern Europe level, pan-European level, or EMEA level.
Fast-paced, internationally oriented senior managers for British or Irish firms that need to change their management style to reflect a more outward, pan-European or global management style, in order to compete more effectively globally
- Very large UK or Irish corporations, medium sized public corporations, as well as traditional medium sized privately-owned British or Irish firms, that might need to find a change-agent senior manager to help their long range business growth plans.
Foreign managers, all fluent in English and the local language, who can be trusted to manage British- or Irish-owned business units in Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, Africa or the Middle East
- When expanding overseas, many UK or Irish firms do not know where to find local managers who have a high enough standard of training to properly manage their business. ART candidates in other countries, some trained in Britain or Ireland, have been tested as managers at leading world companies, and they could be the best way for UK or Irish companies to expand abroad.
