Local managers for foreign companies, where the goal is to increase local market share with bilingual managers who have strong track records of success in the local markets of the Middle East.
- Our emphasis in this kind of search is to find managers who perform well in accordance with the business culture of the foreign company. In addition to being fluent in the local language and English, ART has candidates in certain industry sectors who are fluent in other European, Asian and Mideast languages, allowing for stronger communications between HQ and the local market.
- Whenever possible, for this kind of search we seek candidates who have worked at their best at foreign firms in this capacity. We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top, large firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a foreign greenfield business unit.
- Our objective in this search is to find candidates who are sensitive to both the business culture of the home company and to that of the local customer. The objective is to find a leader whom the foreign company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers in a way that they will find comforting.
Fast-paced, internationally oriented managers for Mideast firms that need to change their management style to reflect a more outward, global management style, in order to compete more effectively globally
- Very large corporations, as well as traditional medium sized family-owned firms, might need to find this kind of change-agent senior manager to help their long range business growth plans.
- High-tech or service sector firms often need this kind of candidate for their senior management ranks, because their industry's business model can be quite different from the management style prevalent among many managers at prominent local firms.
- Generally local recruitment firms do not recruit these kinds of candidates, or they do not recognize them very well. ART, however, specializes in finding this kind of person. Specifically because we are an American executive search firm, we are very familiar with this kind of business style, and we can best recognize and evaluate candidates with this business style.
Foreign managers who can be trusted to manage Middle Eastern business units in Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, Africa or the Middle East
- There is no fee to a client for our services if they do not hire our candidate
- A fee is only due if the client hires our candidate
- Our fee is a single fee, quoted at the start of the search. It is a flat fee that is calculated according to the unique specifics of the client's search need. This fee is not based on candidate salary and it does not change according to the candidate's salary. There are no additional charges of any kind.
- ART fees are quoted in US dollars
- Many search firms require retainers (advanced payments), exclusives, and many months to complete their searches. ART is paid nothing, unless the client is satisfied with our candidates.
- We welcome competition on any search, because competition is good for us and for our clients. We want our clients to hire only the best possible candidate, even if it should be from another search firm. By contrast, most of our competitors view executive search contracts as relationships where the client is forced to guarantee them payment, even if they are not satisfied with the candidates presented to them.
- We normally complete our searches in 2-4 weeks, regardless of the location or title. How do we do this? Because we only accept searches for which we believe we are competent.
- ART bases its executive search recruitment on headhunting via the "direct approach" method, whereas many of our competitors only know how to find candidates by advertising, and other luck-based strategies of recruitment. We do not believe that our clients hire us to place jobs advertisements. They need us to find specific people with specific skills at a specific, targeted group of companies. That is what headhunters know how to do.
