Greater China Executive Search
China - Taiwan - Hong Kong
|
AN EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM THAT IS FINE-TUNED FOR GLOBAL COMPANIES
Founded in the U.S., ART is a one-stop worldwide executive search firm, bringing the highest and most exacting standards of executive search (headhunting), coupled with the fast paced, results-oriented, and efficient style that Asian business demands.
We are a
worldwide executive search firm recruiting senior management and
middle managers for multinationals, fast growth medium sized firms,
and dynamic startups. We recruit "world class" managers for the
industrial, high tech, and service sectors.
There are many opportunities in the Greater China market, for both employers and candidates. But the difference between success and failure in a strategic executive search assignment could rest upon the experience of the headhunter who makes the match between one person and one company. All ART searches are managed by a recruiter with a minimum of ten years' experience in executive search - a standard of care and professionalism frequently lacking in our competition. We hope that you give ART an opportunity to prove our abilities to you. We believe that our risk-free process will make using ART a great resource for you in Greater China and beyond.

TYPICAL CLIENT PROFILES
Our client companies
seeking candidates in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, are North American,
European, Asian, or Australian firms, including the leading companies in their
industries.
Even Chinese-speaking hiring managers and human resources managers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and North America have relied upon ART to assist them with their needs in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is because our experience in finding highly accomplished managers in Greater China is what counts. Always with our focus on being both global and local, we understand that each country and each city in this region has its own advantages and challenges in finding the right executives for our client companies.

TYPICAL CANDIDATE PROFILES
CEO's, COO's, CFO's, VP's, Presidents, Managing Directors, General Managers,
Country Managers, Sales and
Marketing Directors, National Sales Managers, Financial Controllers, M&A Specialists, Plant Managers, Manufacturing Directors, Supply Chain Directors, Sourcing Managers, and others
Our candidates are experienced candidates with good track records of achievement at our clients' competitors, or at firms having the right product or customer exposures to make hiring our candidates a relatively low-risk matter.
The great majority of our candidates in the China market are bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, etc.), while others also have additional language skills in Korean, Japanese, French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, or other languages. Most ART candidates in China have employment experiences at foreign companies and/or education abroad. ART also recruits in China, Asia, and throughout the world, highly talented English-fluent managers who have well established track records of executive management in the Greater China region, where they are developing their Chinese language skills.
ART has been proudly placing Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Singaporeans, Malaysians, and other Mandarin Chinese-fluent Asian candidates since 1987, and these candidates have produced many great and long lasting achievements for our client companies.

A SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYEE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MAKING A PLACEMENT
We understand the multiplicity of business cultures of not just cities, regions or nations, but also the subtle and significant differences between company business models. As a firm that recruits for large MNC's, JV's, WOFE's, medium sized multinationals, privately held firms, and startups, we know that not one candidate could fit all business models well.
Many of our competitors believe wrongly and quite simplistically that "good English" or experience working for MNC's are good enough qualifications for a person to be presented for a management position with a foreign employer. Our standards are much higher. We need to see that our bilingual and bicultural candidates also have the personal interest and experience in working at firms that are of a similar customer base, business model, and management style to those of our client company.
Not all MNC's are organized the same! To us, a famous company name in a resume does not mean much in itself. What we look for is what the person did in that company, and under what kind of circumstances. Certain jobs might have prepared a person to be successful only in very similar business models and corporate sizes or bureaucratic structures. For example, a person working as General Manager of a 1,000 person MNC operation in China might not be the same kind of person who would be successful being General Manager of a one-person startup sales office in China - even if both the candidate's employer and our client were very similar kinds of companies.

JOB LOCATIONS
Positions might be local to you in your city, or in other locations in Asia or the world. Typically, ART is called upon to find candidates who are already based in a specific city or country, but as there is an ongoing shortage of world class, non-bureaucratic, Chinese and English bilingual managers in China, our talented senior and middle management candidates from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the US, Canada, Australia, and in other countries can be called on as great resources if appropriate candidates cannot be first found in China.

OUR HOURS
The China Market and the Global Economy have no time to waste, so our hours
are your hours. ART's operations center is open virtually 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, 365 days a year. Candidates and employers the world over can work with their ART recruiter in their own time zone. There is not a need when working with ART to have to take into account what time zone the search firm is located in. While our competition in Asia, North America and Europe are asleep, ART recruiters are working dutifully to fill our client needs. This means that typically ART searches are completed in half or third of the time as our competition, allowing our client companies to rapidly evaluate our candidates and to get started an interview process for their very important needs.
