Start-Up
Firms
ART,
with its broad
technological,
industry and
geographic market
coverage, is well
positioned to help an
already well-financed
startup firm find
those key people to
devise and manage
their next stage of development.
Our candidates are
available to help
startups become
full-scale, fully
profitable, ongoing
ventures, either as
privately held firms
or firms on track to
IPO. Our candidates
are also available to
help startups planning
to build industry and
investment community
contacts, with the
ultimate goal of being
acquired by or merged
into a larger firm.
ART
can introduce your
firm to people who
might help your
company more
effectively reach your
target audience,
potential partners or
customers. These
candidates may come
from your competitors
or from other very
useful
industries.
ART
is always interested
in those candidates
who have the
experience to manage
or guide the
transition of start-up
firms into fully
profitable ongoing
ventures. Needless to
say, ART is only
interested in working
with startup firms
whose founders and
owners sincerely
believe that their
company's high quality
products or services
are of provable value
to their customers,
investors, and society
at large.
ART
does not accept
searches for
managers who are
expected to serve as
either the funders
of the startup or to
essentially find
capital to pay their
own salaries and our
fees.
The
startup must already
be financially viable
and well funded when
ART is contracted, and
our candidates are
intended by the client
to provide growth and
development for the
startup, but not
for they
themselves to be the
funders or financial
sustainers of a
floundering startup.
Depending upon the
venture's market, ART
usually likes a
potential startup
client to evidence
approximately US$10
million in startup
capital
from well recognized and
provable
sources of investment
capital. Some formal
documentation of such
funding might be
requested
prior to the
commencement of the
search engagement.
