national levels. Our
recruitment work on
behalf of South
African firms began in
1998.
Our
recruitment focus:
- Local
South African
senior managers
and expatriate
senior managers
for South African
and foreign
companies,
where the goal is to
increase market
share with managers
who
already have strong
track records of
success in our
clients' industry
in the South
African, Southern
African, or in
Pan-African
markets as a
whole.
- Assisting
leading and
fast-growing South
African firms that
need to find
experienced
managers outside
of South Africa,
including the
Americas,
Asia-Pacific,
Europe, the Middle
East and of course,
the rest of Africa.
Our
objective is to find
candidates who are
well attuned to the
business culture and
business model of the
home company, as well
as to the local
customer and staff.
The objective is to
find a leader who can
effectively run the
business unit to the
satisfaction of
his or her employer,
while
strategically reaching
local customers and
employees in a way
that they will find
familiar.
Our
candidates for senior
management positions
in Africa are all
normally fluent in
English, with many
being fluent or highly
conversant in French,
Portuguese, Swahili,
Yoruba, Hausa, or
other languages
relevant to the local
national or regional
market, or to that of
the employing company.
Our
South African
recruitment work
primarily concentrates
on the recruitment of
English fluent
candidates with
particular interest in
those candidates who
also have fluency or
language skills in the
following languages
(in alphabetical
order): Afrikaans,
Ndebele, Northern Sotho,
Sotho, Swazi, Tswana,
Tsonga, Venda, Xhosa and
Zulu
Our
firm recruits across the
African continent, from
north to south, east to
west, into most major
linguistic and cultural
communities. In
addition, ART also
reaches out to South
African candidates or
Africa-experienced
candidates who may be
currently residing
outside of the
continent, particularly
in Europe or North
America, who would like
to return to Africa.
