ART recruits locally and worldwide for managerial positions in the Pacific.
For foreign companies, primarily headquartered in North America, Western Europe, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN countries, we recruit experienced, world-class Local and Expatriate Managers for local or Pacific-wide wide business units or departments.

We recruit in the broadest range of industrial and service sectors.

Positions may be for Sole Contributor roles or for department heads or regional heads who would supervise large teams.

The scope of searches on behalf of our client-companies may be:

  • Pan-Pacific (across all language groups)
  • Single- or multi-country focused
  • Language or Cultural Market focused
    • English
    • French and/or Kréyol
    • Polynesian cultures
  • Market focus by National Territories
    • U.S.-related Markets (Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Marianas; as well as former U.S. territories)
    • France d'outre-mer, and former French territories
    • Australia, New Zealand, and U.K. Overseas Territories or former territories
  • Any variation of the above that best suits the client company's particular business mission

We recruit Senior Managers and Middle-Managers in the Pacific region, with a particular focus on the identification of the best world-class local candidates. In addition, whenever needed, we can also recruit Pacific candidates or others who are now residing in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, mainland Asia, etc., where the goal is to supplement or update the Pacific business unit with people having advanced training and work experiences from those areas.

Our emphasis is to find managers who perform well in accordance with the business ethics and business style of the foreign company. The objective is to find a leader whom the company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers, suppliers, and employees in a way that they will find comforting.

Whenever possible, we seek candidates who have worked at their best in similar roles at leading firms, often at our client's direct competitors or near-competitors. Familiarity with the target industry or market sector usually means faster success and greater organizational effectiveness.

We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top Pacific enterprise, or even at a large international firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a medium-sized foreign firm's greenfield business unit.

Fluency in English is normally required. Additional language skills in French, or other local languages of the region or of the employer, also might be required, based on the job location and the business objectives of the role.
