We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top, large German firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a medium-sized foreign firm's greenfield business unit in Germany.

 

• Our objective in this search is to find candidates who are sensitive to both the business culture of the home company and to that of the local German, Swiss or Austrian customers. The objective is to find a leader whom the foreign company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers in a way that they will find comforting.

 

• Searches might be at the national level, D-A-CH level, pan-European level, or EMEA level. As ART is frequently asked by our client companies to identify EMEA Managing Directors or pan-Europe Sales Directors who are based in Germany or Switzerland, candidates with additional fluency in multiple European languages are especially of interest to us.

• When expanding overseas, many German, Swiss or Austrian firms - especially Mittelstand SME's - 'kleine und mittlere Unternehmen', KMU - do not know where to find local managers who have a high enough standard of training to properly manage their business.
