OUR RECRUITMENT FOCUS IN THE NORDIC & BALTIC REGIONS

Typical ART Denmark Executive Search Scenarios

  • Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish & Baltic Managers for Foreign Companies to run National, Nordic, European, or EMEA business units
  • Foreign Managers in Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East for Nordic companies - especially successful medium sized firms that need low-risk, experienced, and trustworthy local managers with the highest standards of global business ethics and trust to build international business units
  • Local Danish-, Swedish-, Norwegian-, or Finnish-speaking or Multilingual "Change Management" Senior Managers who can update, modernize or internationalize Scandinavian, Finnish, or Baltic firms' style of business, particularly with a focus on expanding beyond Nordic home markets, making the most of business opportunities across Europe and worldwide while preserving the best characteristics of the company.

ART recruits senior leaders across:

FURTHER DETAILS

Local managers for foreign companies, where the goal is to increase local market share with bilingual or multilingual managers who have strong track records of success in the national markets of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, or in the European or EMEA market as a unity.

Our emphasis in this kind of search is to find managers who perform well in accordance with the business culture of the foreign company. In addition to being fluent in their native language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) and English, ART has candidates in certain industry sectors who are fluent in other European, Asian and Mideast languages, allowing for stronger communications between HQ and the local market. Scandinavian candidates who are truly fluent in more than one Nordic language are especially valued.

Whenever possible, for this kind of search we seek candidates who have worked at their best in this role at foreign firms. We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top, large Danish firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a medium-sized foreign greenfield business unit in Denmark.

Our objective in this search is to find candidates who are sensitive to both the business culture of the home company and to that of the local Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish customers. The objective is to find a leader whom the foreign company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers in a way that they will find comforting.
Searches might be at the national level, Nordic level, pan-European level, or EMEA level.

Fast-paced, internationally oriented Danish-, Swedish-, Norwegian-, or Finnish-speaking managers for Nordic firms that need to change their management style to reflect a more outward, pan-European or global management style, in order to compete more effectively globally

Very large Nordic corporations, medium sized public corporations, as well as traditional medium sized privately-owned Nordic firms, that might need to find a change-agent senior manager to help their long range business growth plans.

Foreign managers, some fluent in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish, as well as English and the local language, who can be trusted to manage Danish-, Swedish-, Norwegian-, or Finnish-owned business units in Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, Africa or the Middle East

When expanding overseas, many Nordic firms do not know where to find local managers who have a high enough standard of training to properly manage their business. ART candidates in other countries, some trained in Europe, have been tested as managers at leading world companies, and they could be the best way for Nordic companies to expand abroad.

ART's approach to executive search is to avoid risks whenever possible and to find candidates who bring the best long term benefits to the client company.

Unlike most recruitment firms based in Scandinavia or Finland, which have to depend upon outsourced recruiters and unclear partnerships with foreign recruiters for overseas searches, ART does 100% of all our own recruitment. We recruit directly in over 100 countries, and we never use any other recruitment company to find our candidates. In this way, we are able to deliver excellent candidates with the same level of efficiency and quality of service that is expected in our clients' home countries.

We also recruit Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish managers outside of the Nordic region. Most of these managers have strong business experiences in the target area, language and market. Because many of these managers have effectively localized, they often do not require expatriate benefits.
