Typical ART Italy Executive Search Scenarios

Local Italian-speaking Senior Managers for companies based outside of Italy who can run, build, develop, expand, or improve the foreign firm's business in Italy.

We recruit Senior Managers for mostly European and North American companies where the goal is to increase local market share or to increase the efficiency of the foreign business unit. Often the best solution is to recruit Italian-English bilingual or multilingual managers who have strong track records of success in the markets of Italy, or the Southern European region as a whole.

While we try to focus on local candidates whenever available, we also recruit foreign managers, often fluent Italian speakers who have strong track records of management in Italy.

Our emphasis is to find managers who perform well in accordance with the business ethics and business style of the foreign company. The objective is to find a leader whom the foreign company can trust to run their business, while effectively reaching local customers, suppliers, and employees in a way that they will find comforting.

Whenever possible, we seek candidates who have worked at their best in similar roles at foreign firms, often at our client's direct competitors or near-competitors. Familiarity with the target industry or market sector usually means faster success and greater organizational effectiveness.

We take particular care to try to find people who are accustomed to working in a business model that resembles that of the client company. A person who works well at a top Italian firm, or even at a large multinational firm, for example, might not be the right person as employee #1 at a medium-sized foreign firm's greenfield business unit in Italy.

Searches might be at the Southern Europe regional level or Italy national level.

We have a strong interest in managerial candidates from all industries who are multilingual, with strong skills in Italian and English. Fluency in French or Spanish could be particularly considered for regional Southern Europe managerial roles.

Italian fluent candidates with additional skills in German, Dutch, or Scandinavian languages are of great interest to northern European employers in Italy.

Foreign Managers in Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East for Italian companies.

Our recruitment services in this regard is especially valuable to well-established, family-owned and other medium-sized Italian firms that need low-risk, experienced, and trustworthy local managers with the highest standards of global business ethics and trust to build international business units.

Traditionally, family-owned firms have relied on decades of excellent reputation in Italy and in certain other European countries, but when the objective is to build a global business, these medium-sized firms often do not have the internal knowledge or staff to expand efficiently abroad.

Sending an expatriate manager to a country where s/he has no experience is not generally a successful long term solution to penetrating foreign markets, but if the company does not personally know people with these experiences, how could they expand? The solution is ART, a global executive search firm that is especially well suited to the needs of medium-sized firms that require unbureaucratic, results-oriented managers to expand international business.

Local Italian-speaking "Change Management" Senior Managers who can update, modernize or internationalize Italian firms' style of business.

From the beginning of our work in executive search, ART has helped find senior managers who have track records of success in improving businesses. In Italy, as in the world as a whole, there is a critical need for well established companies to modernize their structures, organizations, and processes. Whatever the need, ART candidates are available to bring these important skill sets to our client companies.

  • Sometimes a new Managing Director might be required to change the direction of a business.
  • Other times it might be necessary to bring in a new Head of Supply Chain, to bring efficiencies to materials, procurement and logistics.
  • In some cases a firm needs a new CFO, who can help finance an expansion or who could help the firm manage acquisitions or even its own merger with or acquisition by another firm.

ART recruits senior leaders across:
